In 2016 Passport To Education® is making a national effort to aid unemployed job seekers to obtain employment – virtually through Podcasting – and on ground. We are bringing our experience to provide education and hope to unemployed job seekers in Seattle, WA and Tampa, FL and expand to all regions of the U.S. If you are a job seeker, listen and follow in the weeks ahead as our Podcast Content uncovers resources, employers seeking staff, and training programs to advance your skills. Both East and West Coast regions have WorkSource and CareerSource services and Community Service Agencies offering excellent support. We are an enhanced service to those that are in place.
Our Podcasts offer you a train-the-trainer toolset. Bring our Podcast content to others: in schools, civic groups, your neighborhood, or places of worship. Our training invites and works with all-ages, all races, individuals, persons with learning differences, all sexual preferences, all faiths, all dreams. It has been our experience that 22% to 30% of people in any group have a barrier to learning and employment because of a diagnosis of some kind. A diagnosis that creates a barrier to learning qualifies that person for equal access in classrooms as a Civil Right. Diagnoses do not determine life success. For this reason, we will introduce a component of our training to empower those who need it. Our curriculum will apply to all ages of job seekers which we will adapt to include all learners. Our goal is education, empowerment and employment.
